Henry Onyekuru ended a 10-game goal drought in all competitions for club and country, with a brace in Galatasaray’s 3-0 win over Kayserispor in the Super Lig on Saturday and the fans sang his name.
Onyekuru, who is on loan from Everton, last scored in August as Galatasaray routed Alanyaspor 6-0 in a league match.
His first goal on Saturday came in the opening 18 minutes as he hit a rebound from Sofiane Feghouli’s effort which was beaten away by the goalkeeper.
The Nigeria international’s second was a lot more tasty.
He raced to pick a long pass, body checked a marker and as he entered the box, side footed the ball in a chip to beat the on rushing goalkeeper.
So taken by the winger’s second goal, the travelling fans sang his name as they celebrated the lead.
No better way to bounce back from the set back in the week. Great team spirit a clean sheet and two goals ⚽⚽. All Glory to God! ❤???????? pic.twitter.com/beT2jS5wkh

Per whoscored.com the winger picked up a 8.2 rating, the most by any player on the night.
It was a fine response from Onyekuru who was recently called up to replace the injured Odion Ighalo for Nigeria’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against South Africa.
