Gata claims NPFL interests

Former Shooting Stars striker, Ismail Gata, has revealed that four Nigerian top-flight clubs are all interested in getting his services for the 2018/19 season, reports Footballlive.ng.

The marksman says he has been penciled down by four elite clubs in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) as each is keen to snatch his signature for their clubs’ course.
The ex Enyimba, Kwara United, ABS FC, Kogi United, FC Ifeanyi Ubah and Kukesi forward in an interview with Footballlive.ng’s Ademetan Abayomi, hinted that local clubs are involved in a bidding war for his signature as he is currently unattached.
“I have been contacted by four clubs in the NPFL. I’m not in a haste to take a decision on my next destination,” Ismail Gata told Footballlive.ng.
“There is need to study the offers and look at the one that best suits my game,” he added.
