MTK Budapest defender George Ikenne-King is delighted with the three points picked up against Puskas FC Academy, but he admits it was hard work against a resilient home side.
Ikenne-King performed very well at right back with his marauding runs and earned a yellow card in the first half.
He was outstanding at the Pancho Arena. A number of crucial challenges ensured the points were protected.
The Nigerian was pleased with his side’s and his own display as he reflected on a tough evening against Attila Pinter’s men.
“The three points are the most important and I am really happy with the way things went today,” Ikenne-King told Footballlive.ng after the game.
“It was not easy, however, we managed to focus and we came out on top in this game.
