Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has praised Nigeria’s trio of Samuel Chukwueze, Kenneth Omeruo and Moses Simon who all ply their trade in the Spanish La Liga and hoping they can continue the good work.
Nigerian wonder kid Samuel Chukwueze has been a revelation for struggling Villarreal in the LA Liga Santander with eye catching performances for the yellow submarines scoring two goal and creating one assist in 10 league appearances while Kenneth Omeruo has also been rock solid for CD Leganes with a total of 10 appearances since joining the team on loan from English side Chelsea.
The national team coach says he is excited with their development especially Chukwueze and Omeruo who have both had standout performances; “Chukwueze and Omeruo are already a part of our team. When I invited Chukwueze the last time a lot of people were surprised. But I knew he had a lot of quality and he is showing them now, Omeruo is also doing very well in Spain in a special kind of defense where three central defenders are used.”
Nigerian winger Moses Simon also received some accolades from the Franco-German tactician for his role against Barcelona in a La Ligand fixture; “These players are in a very good league, we also have Moses simon who had a good game against Barcelona in the La Liga.”
