Gervaine Wayehive optimistic ahead of daunting task with Nigeria

Seychelles star Gervaine Wayehive has stated that he is optimistic ahead of the must-win African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Nigeria on Saturday

The Saint Louis lad believes the Pirates are ready and want a good result in the Group E fixture.

“We are ready for the game and hopefully want to get a good result at the end of 90 minutes,” Gervaine Wayehive said in a chat with Footballlive.ng.

“When you play against any team you have to look out for all the players. We aren’t concentrating on or two people.”
“It will be a difficult test for us. The boys are ready. Hopefully we will win the game on Saturday.”
The Super Eagles will take on the Pirates on Saturday, 8th September at exactly 1:30 pm Nigerian time.
