kwara United ensured their passage to the next phase of the NFF/AITEO CUP competition in an emphatic fashion by putting 5 goals passed Abia Warriors at the Agege stadium. The soccer temple witness a goalfest as the harmony boys cruised from start to finish with determination and resilience.The Harmony Boys approached today’s match with total determination and resilience.

Segun Alebiosu despite missing some scoring chances had the first hat trick of the tournament, following a fantastic performance.

The first match of the tournament was between Kano Pillars and Rivers United, it ended 3-2 in favour of Kano Pillars. Masu Gida came from a goal down to win the encounter. The match produced three penalties, one for Rivers United, Two for Kano Pillars.

Total of eleven goals were scored in day one of the competition. Four of the goal are penalty kicks.
