God’s Plan! Omeruo celebrates Liga debut… but it comes at a Price

Date:

Kenneth Omeruo came on as a forced substitute on his La Liga debut for Leganes in a 1-0 win over Rayo Vallecano.

Omeruo, who is on loan from Chelsea, replaced the injured Unai Bustinza after 29 minutes in the first half, and held fort with an above average performance.

The Nigerian marked the winning debut with a “God’s Plan is always the Best” Instagram post on Sunday – which is kind of weird seeing his chance came after a teammate’s injury.

Los Pepineros are currently 18th in the table with just two wins from 8 league matches and Saturday’s victory couldn’t have come at a better time; as club football take a recess for the international break.
