Gusau: NFF aiming for self sustainance

Date:

Member of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) executive committee Ibrahim Gusau has stated that the football body is at an advance stage in its drive to be self sustaining.

“We have already set out the blue print on how to ensure that we are independent and self sustaining so as to aid our programs for the various national teams,” Gusau said to Footballlive.ng.
“The NFF will continue to pursue this goal in order to ensure that Nigeria’s participation in international competitions doesn’t rely on Government finances and coffers.
The Chairman of Chairmen also emphasized on the NFF’s resolve to consolidate in it youth development programs.
“Another cardinal objective will be youth football development so as to create a long last legacy that will outlive the current board of the NFF.”
“The Zenith Bank age grade competition is waxing stronger. We want to take it to another level in future. I don’t want to let the cart out of the bag. The NFF is committed to developing talents and giving them hope for the future.
