Former Nigerian international, Garba Lawal hails Ademola Lookman and his remarkable form with Atalanta, stating the winger could be in line to win the prestigious CAF Men’s Player of the Year award.
Lawal spoke on Lookman’s growth and how he has matured with each game and could thrive in any top club.
“He is doing fantastic and I believe he is one of the front-runners to win the award, with his last season form and also this season,” Lawal said in an interview on Brila FM No Holds Barred.
“With his form last season and his performance so far this season, he stands out.”
“He is attracting a lot of big clubs to come for him but it depends on what he wants and I believe he can play in any club.”
Ademola Lookman will be looking to add to his goal tally for the Nigerian national team in the upcoming AFCON qualifiers against Benin and Rwanda.
