Nigerian midfielder, Ebenezer Akinsanmiro has faced a challenging journey since joining Inter Milan from Remo Stars in 2023.
The 19-year-old, who began his career with Inter’s under-19 squad, made his senior debut last season in a brief appearance against Lecce.
However, his limited game time saw him loaned out to Serie B side Sampdoria, where he has since found more consistent playing opportunities.
Currently on a season-long loan, Akinsanmiro has made 11 league appearances for Sampdoria, contributing one goal.
As his loan spell approaches its end, questions arise about his future role at Inter Milan.
Italian agent Cescenzo Cecere, who represents Akinsanmiro, believes that his client has what it takes to become a regular in the Nerazzurri’s first team despite Inter’s competitive midfield options.
“He’s doing very well, Inter are following his progress,” Cescenzo told SempreInter. “We hope that he can play for the Nerazzurri soon.”
Akinsanmiro, who signed a four-year contract with Inter on January 31, 2023, remains focused on making his mark.
As he prepares to return to Milan next season, his progress at Sampdoria could pave the way for him to finally break into Inter’s lineup.
