Former coach Of Akwa united who is presently the head coach of Plateau United spoke with www.footballlive.ng about his new club.
“It is a very good match, i believe such matches will help the both teams not really in a small measure to start the new NPFL season”.
“It is a good test for us, and i believe it will help us in our game coming up on Sunday, even though we have played different set of teams in friendlies matches, we played Kwara United two days back, and yesterday it was Nasarawa United”.
“We are trying to pick our best team together tomorrow in another friendly match and also to see if we will be able to win, which will certainly give us the confidence to start the league”.
“In regards to the team this season, it is a new philosophy, new coach and some new players ahead as well, we certainly need time to get into a fusion, which did not get the opportunity to partake in any of the pre-season tournament that was held sometime ago, which was part of our greatest undoing”.
“I believe we are pushing ourselves to making sure we are very ready come Sunday for our first league match” the Plateau United gaffer concluded.
