I don’t feel totally disappointed at my players over our match against Kano Pillars – Coach Usman Abd’allah

Date:

I know the capability of my boys, but they have being really stretched these days ,my boys had to deal with a lot of issues such as fatigue, injury, no motivation, having to rest most of our key players for the confederation Cup coming up and also managerial lapses which needs to be put in place when we get back.

On our opponent, Kano Pillars it was tough game, pillars played an outstanding football, their performance was impressive i must commend. They where really out to win like us but fell on their door steps instead.

We are out of the competition, no hard feelings to it, in football you win some, you draw some and loose some that’s the philosophy of soccer everywhere.

I am proud of my boys in victory and in defeat we stick together as a team, right we will use our ample time to prepare effectively for the confederation Cup ahead of us.

My take on Kano pillars scaling through to the finals and possibly winning the Aiteo cup is that they play a good collective football, they work as a single unit but in a divided form.

Football involves a lot of hard work and concentration ,which pillars have displayed so far and I wish them well as the proceed to the next round.

Regarding the confederation cup return leg in Morocco , by the grace of God our injured players will be readily available for the match physically and fitness wise, we will make sure we improve on the areas that we need to work on critically, we will work on every department especially the defense area and also try to score goals too.

He concluded by saying i am very optimistic and positive minded about the match against Raja Casablanca of Morocco, we solely determined to win not even draw with a good goal margin and with the prayers and support of our fans we will return back in victory.
