”I don’t know now if Osimhen will be Mbappé’s heir…” Says Agent Damiani

Date:

Football agent and French football expert Oscar Damiani has shed light on Victor Osimhen’s potential future destination, indicating that Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) could be the frontrunners in securing the Nigerian striker’s signature.

Despite attracting interest from Premier League clubs like Chelsea and Arsenal, Damiani suggests that Chelsea’s ability to make a significant bid may be constrained by the need to balance their finances to comply with the Premier League’s Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations.

In an interview with Radio Punto Nuovo, Damiani shared his insights, stating, “I don’t know now if Osimhen will be Mbappé’s heir, the PSG managers didn’t tell me anything.” He added, “However, there aren’t many teams that can afford him, so it’s clear that Paris is among the few candidates that they would have the ability to purchase him.”

Speaking further about PSG’s interest in Osimhen, Damiani highlighted the club’s strong candidacy, citing their solid relationship with Napoli and their former collaboration with Osimhen at Lille under transfer guru Luís Campos.

Damiani emphasized PSG’s eagerness to secure Osimhen’s services, especially with the striker’s release clause set at 130 million euros.

With Osimhen’s unique contribution to any team, Damiani hinted at PSG’s interest in grooming him as Kylian Mbappé’s potential successor.

However, he clarified that no official confirmation has been made by the PSG management regarding this.

Amidst the competition, PSG stands out as one of the few clubs with the financial capability to pursue Osimhen, making them a strong contender for his coveted signature.
