Ifeanyi Matthew Credits His Teammates
Central midfielder Ifeanyi Matthew has credited Lillestrom’s improved form in the Norwegian Eliteserien to the belief his teammates have shown amongst themselves.
Matthew told Footballlive.ng that the team’s togetherness was visible once again when fought hard to defeat Tromsoe 1-0 on Monday.
“We are believing in each other as players. We will continue with that spirit because it has helped us to pick points. We want to do much better than we have been doing and finish the league on a high,” he told Footballlive.ng
“We won’t relax at all. We will keep our belief and do well,” the former Flying Eagles midfielder explained.
Lillestrom are battling to beat the drop in the top flight. They face Stabaek next weekend.
