Super Eagles forward Sylvester Igboun has expressed delight with his side’s progression to the next stage of the UEFA Europa League.
Igboun was impressive for his side as drew 2-2 with FC Progres Niedercorn to reach the play offs of the competition.
The Nigerian admits the game was tough as FC Progres Nierdercorn are a very good side but they were resolute and determined to book their place in the next round.
“This was a very tough game as it was important we qualified,” Igboun told Footballlive.ng.
“It was like a final. We won the first leg 2-1 and we needed at least a draw to sail through. We were very determined and we got it,”
Igboun has been one outstanding for UFA since his move from FC Midtjylland in 2015.
