Odion Ighalo may have established himself as a prolific PK taker, and so rightly scored from the spot in the 68th minute for Changchun Yatai in the Chinese Super League, but his side still fell at home 5-2 to Jiangsu Suning.
Ighalo updated his goals return for the season with his 18th in the League, but Changchun Yatai slide to 8th spot in the table after back to back defeats.
The Nigeria made his 24 appearance in as many League matches and is averaging a goal in two games.
He is currently second in the top scorers chart, behind Shanghai SIPG’s Wu Lei.
