Iheanacho Wants To Score Against Man Utd

Date:

Leicester City attacker, Kelechi Iheanacho has shot his sight beyond his team’s next match in pre-season, as he is already thinking of hitting a goal against Manchester United in The Foxes’ first match of the new campaign.

Leicester will be out this weekend for their last match of pre-season but, after scoring in their last two games of the summer, Iheanacho says he is now setting his sight on doing same when real action gets underway in the English Premier League.

After netting against both Udinese of Italy and Valencia of Spain in the space of five days, Iheanacho said hopes he can continue to find the back of the net for Leicester as the new campaign draws closer.

Leicester’s pre-season campaign comes to an end on Saturday, when they take on Vincent Enyeama’s French club, Lille Metropole at Stade Pierre-Mauroy and, though Iheanacho is eager to continue his scoring form, he stressed that the big deal now is against Man U.

Iheanacho said: “Of course, I would love to keep it going, it’s been a good pre-season for us so I’d love to keep the form and keep scoring goals.

“I think it’s going to be a good game (against Manchester United), but we need to keep working hard and make sure we get the goals.

“Valencia are a good team as we all know and we worked hard in training to prepare for this game. It wasn’t a bad outcome so we’re looking forward to the next game.”
