Former Nigerian International, Peter Ijeh has expressed his delight as his daughter recently signed permanently for AC Milan. Evelyn Ijeh signed a three-year contract with Milan, after spending some time on loan with the club already.
Ijeh described the move as a welcomed development, adding that the move speaks well of his daughter’s talent. He also mentioned that his daughter had played for the Swedish age grade national teams as well.
” It is a welcome development, she’s been on the track for a long time. She’s played for the Swedish U17 and U19 teams, she is also the captain of the Swedish U23 team, her performance speaks loud when it comes to her career. The move speaks well for her talent. Her signing for Milan is deserving, she came on loan from Tigres of Mexico, and after she played about 12 games, they decided to make her move permanent”.
Evelyn Ijeh scored four goals in 19 appearances during her loan spell, and she also announced the move via social media. Ijeh’s permanent move is on a three year basis, tying her too the club until 2027.
