Former Flying Eagles midfielder, Harmony Ikande says he aims to bounce back quickly from the red card he received in his very first match of the new season with Al Jabalain of Saudi Arabia.
After seeing his side lost their opening match of the Saudi Super League 2-0 to Jeddah FC, mostly due to his expulsion in the encounter, Ikande said he is eager to quickly get an opportunity that would allow him redeem his image with the club.
The former AC Milan of Italy protégé, who has played in several other countries before moving last month to Saudi Arabia, said he will make the best of his next game to revive his image among his club’s fans.
Ikande was sent off on his league debut for Al Jabalain in the first league match of the season against Nigerian compatriot, former Plateau United of Jos goalkeeper, Okiemute Odah’s club.
Ikande, who was loaned severally by Milan to Hapoel Tel Aviv, FK Sarajevo, Govinoa and Aria Limassol among others stated on social media: “Very sad to get red card. Sad to see my team lose, but I will make it up.”
