Ikeme Honored in Molineux… before Wolves dazzled Man City

Carl Ikeme returned to the Molineux on Saturday as he was honored by Wolverhampton Wanderers before their premier league game against Manchester City.

Ikeme walked out on the pitch with his kids to an ovation by the crowd as the former goalkeeper made his first public appearance since his battle with Leukemia.

 

On Saturday he tweeted: Great day being back @wolves seeing everyone! Big Love Always ❤️????◼️

 

In July, the Nigerian announced his retirement from football, after a year of undergoing treatment for the disease and going into complete remission in June.
