Rangers International head coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu, expressed his disappointment following the goalless draw between Rangers and Kwara United.
Rangers entered the game against Kwara United unbeaten in their last five matches and were filled with confidence. However, they were unable to secure a victory and had to settle for a draw against the Afonja Warriors.
Ilechukwu acknowledged the disappointment of not securing the three points but quickly shifted his focus to the upcoming midweek game against Kano Pillars.
“It’s a sad one for us because it was a game we prepared very well for to secure three points, but unfortunately, we were unable to achieve that,” he expressed.
“This setback is temporary, but in football, anything can happen. We are going away to face Kano Pillars in Kano, and it will be difficult. However, if Kwara United can secure a point here, we can also achieve something in Kano,” he concluded, displaying optimism despite the disappointing result.
