Leicester City boss, Clause Puel is happy that two of his players in the Super Eagles, Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Onyinyen Ndidi are both back from international duty without any injuries.
Puel said early Thursday that he was happy to see Ndidi and Iheancho return fit to play Bournemouth this weekend, despite starring in two matches across three days with the Nigerian national team.
Puel hinted further that Ndidi and Iheanacho will now get shirts against Bournemouth in The Foxes’ English Premier League fixture on Saturday.
They both turned up for training at Belvoir Drive on Thursday morning, after representing Nigeria against Seychelles on Saturday and Liberia this past Tuesday.
It is a huge relief for Puel, as Iheanacho and Ndidi have been involved in all the matches played by Leicester in the Premier League in the new season, with the former Racing Genk of Belgium midfielder starting and completing each game.
”They all came back with a smile. I am happy because they came back in good fitness and a good mentality. It’s important to come back with desire and focus for their club. I am a happy trainer to see all my other players fit,” Puel admitted.
