The Super Eagles player sustained an injury during AC Milan’s Serie A game against Cagliari on Saturday and was substituted at halftime.
AC Milan confirmed Samuel Chukwueze injury as a muscle problem in his left thigh in a social media post.
Super Eagles head coach, Finidi George, is expected to announce the squad for the upcoming matches against South Africa and Benin Republic.
Nigeria will play against South Africa at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, on Friday, June 7, followed by a match against Benin Republic a few days later.
