Insurance returns Dominance over Shooting Stars…Accumulated enemies behind 3sc Woes

Date:

Insurance of Benin have confirmed their superiority over Shooting stars football club of Ibadan beating them for the second time in three consecutive meetings in the Nigeria National League (NNL) fixtures to secure promotion ticket to the Nigeria Professional Football League,NPFL.

Gone are the days in 80s and 90s when both teams were known to be bitter rivals but reverse is the case in the just concluded 2017/2018 Bet9ja Nigeria National League. The first fixture of the Nigeria National League ended goaless in Lekan Salami, Adamasingba stadium, Ibadan and defeated Oluyole Warriors in a decisive match 2-1 later in Benin before the Aba neutral ground confirmed total superiority over Oluyole Warriors and sealed a passage to the top flight.
Meanwhile, the present management of Oluyole Warriors have attracted and accumulated more enemies to the club than Club faithfuls. Disechanted stakeholders ranging from maltreated players with license racketeering, betrayal of journalists, lack of respect to the state based players, technical removal of fans from stadium, non forgiving spirit of one of the top members of the management to those who genuinely /diligently love and work for the Club, high handendness of their family and friends from the team brings the efforts of the players, technical crew and management to naught.
However, all hope is not lost as the present management can still get it right if they could call the aggrieved stakeholders and call for a peace brokers meetings or else, the Oluyole Warriors would continue to hobnob with lower clubs in Nigerian league as what has been settled in the spirit cannot be overturned in the physical
To stitch in time saves nine.
I so submit.
