Super Eagles forward Isaac Success has signed a new long term contract with English Premier League side Watford FC till 2023.
After a turbulent start to life in England, the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup winner who joined Watford from Spanish side Granada in 2016 has revived his career under new boss Javi Gracia and has been instrumental to the Clubs good form this season.
The news was confirmed on Watford’s official website and social media accounts. “@SuccessIsaac has signed a new deal with #watfordfc that takes him through to 2023!”
The Super Eagles star also celebrated the signing with an Instagram post. “I’m happy to sign a new contract with Watford FC till 2023.” Success has received congratulatory messages from national and club teammates including: Moses Simon, Kenneth Omeruo, John Ogu, Troy Deeney, Andre Gray, Dele Alampasu, Andre Carrillo and others.
Success has featured in all 13 of Watford’s Premier League games this season scoring once and assisting on two occasions.
Chairman and CEO Scott Duxbury said of the new contract: “This is a just reward for Isaac’s continued hard work and application this season. We look forward to seeing him develop further over the coming years.”
