Watford of England striker, Isaac Success had to be left out of his side’s FA Cup match with Queens Park Rangers due to injury, as his club boss, Javi Gracia says the Super Eagles star is yet to fully recover from a knock.
Against all permutations that Success would be back in contention for a spot to face Eberechi Eze’s club, Gracia finally sealed the striker’s fate by revealing that he is one of two players that remain out injured.
Success, who has been a regular for Watford in the FA Cup and Carabao Cup this season, is The Hornets’ top scorer in such competitions, with a total of three goals in four appearances across both contests.
However, Gracia confessed that he reluctantly had to leave out The Hornets’ top scorer for the fifth round FA Cup clash on Friday evening.
It marked the third straight missed match for Success, as the former BJ Foundation of Benin City, Udinese of Italy and Granada of Spain star did not feature in their last two English Premier League fixtures.
Gracia went on to explain that the UAE 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup gold medalist is suffering a hamstring complaint, adding: ”At this moment we only have Isaac Success and Kiko Femenía injured.”
