Date:

Watford’s in-form striker, Isaac Success was again in top form at the weekend, as he turned into a handful too hot to hold by Southampton, but ended the evening without a goal.

With Success leading The Hornets’ attack, Southampton could not hold on for all three points against Watford after Jose Holebas netted the equaliser on 82 minutes to cancel out Manolo Gabbiadini’s first half goal.

Footballlive.ng reports further that Success got close to scoring in the ninth minute but his shot from 20 yards was deflected over by Wesley Hoedt for a corner.

Success played the full game, during which Southampton’s Hojbjerg was booked for a foul from behind on the Super Eagles’ returnee in the 88th minute.

Republic of Ireland invitee, Michael Obafemi came on for his third Premier League appearance in the 90th minute, The Hornets’ Nigerian-born striker, Stefano Chuka Okaka was benched all evening long.

At St. James’ Park, Newcastle United claimed a 2-1 success over Bournemouth, as Salomón Rondón’s brace gave The Magpies a two-goal lead but Jefferson Lerma’s header in first-half stoppage time reduced the deficit.

While Jordon Ibe started for The Cherries, Nnamdi Oforborh was not in the 18. The former England U21 star struggled and was replaced in the 82nd minute.
