Watford of England striker, Isaac Success is still basking in the euphoria of his stunning goal at the weekend, and put it down to his ability to get past opponents with power and speed.
Success was happy to hit home The Hornets’ second goal on the dot of 90 minutes, as they won 2-0 away to Newcastle United in the English FA Cup, after which he also hailed his side’s coach for employing effective tactics.
He stated during a radio sports programme monitored by footballlive.ng in Lagos that The Hornets’ boss, Javier ‘Javi’ Gracia Carlos knows how to employ his strengths and speed to the best of value in the team.
Although Success also admitted that many of the opposing clubs know his strengths as well, the former BJ Foundation of Benin City, Udinese of Italy and Granada of Spain star says he always finds a way to overcome them.
Success affirmed: “All credit must go to the coach. He knows my strengths – power and speed – which I use to help the team.
“They also know my strengths, but I always try to give my best and get the goals that are needed.
“Once I keep trying, I keep powering and running, the goals will come, as it was in our FA Cup match against Newcastle. I am very happy we won.”
