Ismaily sign former Sunshine Stars striker Okiki Afolabi

Ismaily SC have completed the signing of Nigeria forward Okiki Afolabi from Ethiopian Premier League champions Jimma Aba Jiffar, reports Footballlive.ng.

The 23-year-old forward, who scored 23 goals at Jimma Aba Jiffar, has signed a four-year contract for an undisclosed fee.
Regarded as one of Nigeria’s finest talents, Okiki emerged as the best player in the Ethiopian top fight in the recently concluded season.
It is expected that he will make his first Ismaily appearance in the Premier League opener against Al Ahly, which takes place at the Al Salam Stadium on August 2.
“It is a great honour to be joining a club of Ismaily’s wonderful history and to have the chance to play with such a talented group of players in Africa’s best league in front of such a passionate group of fans,” Okiki told Footballlive.ng.
“I look forward greatly to working with the manager and all the staff at Ismaily and working hard to deliver on the pitch to repay their trust, and the management’s faith and belief in me.”
“I’m looking forward to meeting my new team-mates and to be playing for Ismaily in the Premier League. I will give my best to the club and want to make all the supporters happy.”
