It is a good start for me here in Saudi Arabia – Okiemute Odah.

Date:

The Nigerian born goalkeeper of Al-jeddah Fc okiemute Odah spoke to www.footballive.ng about his first five matches played so far in his newly signed club Jeddah Fc in the Saudi Arabian League.

I must really say , it is a good start for me and also an exciting moment for me having kept three clean sheet in five matches, making the second goalkeeper with such record in the on going League.

We are number one on the League Log presently as far as the table is concerned and we intend as a club to maintain that status.

When i came into the club , i saw professionalism , organisation and good Structure that makes the football system work in a wonderful manner.

I am not surprised we are at the top of the log, we actually prepared very well during our pre-season putting things in place to help us achieve this present results .

We went on a pre-season tour in Morocco, where we played with top clubs in Morocco, and Qatar too, it is the result of the hard work input during the pre-season, we are enjoying presently in the on going League.

I am super excited that i am doing what i know how to do best , safe guarding the goal post and i am impressed with my performance so far , which I am still working hard to achieve more in my career.

I am hoping by God’s grace we get a promotion to the Saudi Arabian Premiere League at the end of the season so i can play along side my fellow compatriot Ahmed Musa in the Elite League.

It is a happy thoughts having to see a great personality like Ahmed Musa playing in the same country and also doing very well too, it is a wonderful feeling , having met him in the National Team and then meeting in Saudi Arabia make me feel am not really away from home.

Presently we are over twelve Nigerians playing in different clubs and leagues in Saudi Arabia .

The former plateau United goalkeeper concluded by saying i cannot wait for Fc Jeddah to be promoted into the premiere side.
