Nigerian midfielder Mikel Agu was named in the Team of the Week in Portugal after a superlative Performance for his Portuguese club Vitoria Setubal.
Agu , who made the Super Eagles squad against the Bafana , Bafana of South ,and also he was an early bird in camp ahead of tie against South Africa.

It very good feeling to back to the National Team, after the World Cup precisely ,thought i was left out of the squad then but thankfully i am back again and i am happy to be here again with my fellow colleagues.
It is a good opportunity, when are being called to represent your country.
Regarding my move to Vitoria Setubal , personally i opted for the loan deal , Vitoria Setubal came knocking , i know definitely i will get more playing time.
Vitoria Setubal is a familiar terrain to me, the fans are familiar with me, and they like me and as well the club’s management too.
When was being asked to move to Vitoria Setubal from my parent club Fc Porto , i did not hesitate or think it twice,i just went straight for the offer.
I knew my move to Setubal increase my playing time and i will be able to get my confidence back in regards to a call to serve my beloved country.
I made a very good decision by taken the loan offer to Setubal, here i am today in the National Team again .
Concerning making the team of the week list in the Portuguese Elite League .
I am happy to make the list with a rating of 6.5 , i have always carried a notion of working hard day by day, because these are achievements that gives you value as a player in your club.
Thought Vitoria Setubal is a small team, unlike Porto, Benfica, sporting and Braga , for me to make team of the week along side players from such mentioned teams it’s a huge one for me in my career.
I will keep doing my thing and i hope i win as much numbers for the season he concluded.
