It was a painful loss – Juwon Oshaniwa

Date:

Akwa united left full back and as well Super Eagles world cup player 2014 , expressed his displeasure towards the painful loss to Nassarawa united at the Lafia township stadium.

He said,  I am really not happy about the match,  it was a poor outcome and also a poor result for us.

As a team we played collectively, but the desired result was not ascertained,  we did not achieve the desired result, anyways that’s football for you , you win some, draw some and loss some as well.

We eventually fell on the part of loss  , but even at that we will not give up, we stay within the course,  we will keep fighting .

Regarding my fast adaptation back to the Nigerian League,  this is my root,  i was born and breed here before i left the country,  i spent lot of years playing in the Nigerian League before leaving Nigeria,  so it’s easier for me to adjust into the settings.

When i got back to the country to play,  i did let go of my Europe mentality and switch on the reality of being in Nigeria, which is actually working for me, eventually i still have good age to play on my side.

Looking at the high point of my career, it was winning the the 2013 Nations Cup and as well participating in the Brazil 2014 World Cup , these are achievements i can never wave behind me.

I am most grateful to God , because it’s a great achievement for me in my career which my first big outing ended in victory for me that’s the Nations Cup 2013 and also i had a blissful performance in the world biggest football Fiesta the World Cup 2014 that also paved the way for me into limelight.

With reference to my target as a person i am very optimistic, positive and a realist as well,  i take every step at a time.

The skillful player concluded by saying,  I am targeted at activating my profile to a greater level and I will keep doing what i know how to do to what the future holds for me.
