Alex Iwobi came of the bench in the second half for Arsenal in a PL game against Burnley at the Emirates Stadium to help the Gunners seal three points and bounce back from two straight defeats.
Iwobi scored a 91st minute goal to ease the pressure on Unai Emery’s men with the scores at 2-1 and the Clarets mounting the pressure for an equalizer.
The goal is a relief for the Nigerian, who although has improved since the appointment of Emery has struggled for goals.
His last goal and the first of the season came in August against Chelsea in the Premier League.
On Saturday, his second goal of the season came in such fortuitous circumstances, after Mesut Ozil’s weak shot ricocheted off a defender, but fell kindly for the young midfielder to hit home from inside 6 yard.

Significantly, it was his second goal against the clarets and on both occasions leading to a win for the Gunners.
Iwobi has a record of 17 goals in total for Arsenal and only on two occasions have they not been in games when the club win (1-2 Watford) and (Chelsea 3-2).
