Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored on his debut and Alex Iwobi provided an assist in what looked liked a purposeful Arsenal team as they ran away with a 5-1 home win against Everton in the Premier League on Saturday.
Aubameyang had joined the London club on January transfer deadline day from Dortmund, and he was thrown right into the action with his Gunners teammate by Arsene Wenger.
The Gabon International netted on his debut in the 37th minute to give Wenger’s men a 4-0 first-half lead.
Iwobi, whose inclusion in the starting line-up ahead of Jack Wilshere and Alexandre Lacazette sent Twitter on a meltdown, did not disappoint as he turned provider for Aaron Ramsey, for the Welshman’s second goal – He ended up with a hattrick on the night.
The 21-year-old Nigerian went to play all 90 minutes – his first since October 2017.
