SC Paderborn of Germany left-back, Jamilu Collins has declared that he is enjoying his stay with the second division club and stressed that he is very happy with the club.
Although footballlive.ng gathered from recent reports that Collins could be on his way out of Paderbornn in the January transfer window, sequel to his breakthrough into the Super Eagles, the former youth international insists he is not thinking of leaving just yet.
However, while acknowledging that football matters are usually dynamic, the former Flying Eagles invitee said he would only leave Paderborn at the right time and under normal circumstances approved by the team’s hierarchy.
Collins, who already has four caps with the Super Eagles, has pooled 18 appearances with Paderborn this season, hence interest in his services by other clubs, but the 24-year-old defender refuses to engage in such talk.
He acknowledged: “I’m aware of the interest from other teams; but I’m very happy at Paderborn.
“I have heard nothing – maybe something about Stuttgart – but you never know these things.
“In football you never know what might happen; especially with the transfer window opening soon.”
