The captain of the Super Eagles John Mikel Obi undergoes medicals at EPL club Middlesbrough ahead of signing for the Championship club.
Mikel is set to join Middlesbrough after spending two years in Tianjin TEDA in the Chinese Super League.
The former Chelsea midfielder, 31, travelled from London to the north-east 2days back after agreeing personal terms with the club in question .
