Forward Akor Adams has described having Nigerian legend, John Utaka in the same environment at Montpellier as a big privilege.
He stressed that he feels blessed to have the former Super Eagles forward around and being able to learn from him.
Adams has been in fine form for Montpellier this season and has netted seven times in eleven games for the French outfit.
John Utaka, who himself, was a player for Montpellier during his active days, is currently a youth coach at the club.
Akor Adams revealed this in a chat on on Brila FM.
“Everyone knows he is a big player and when I was about to make the move and was told he works here,” he said on Brila FM’s breakfast show ‘No Hold Barred With Ifeanyi Udeze.
“I saw it as a big privilege because he is a person every one saw growing up as a Nigerian legend and I feel blessed to be in the same space as he is and a privilege to learn things from him.”
