Chelsea have listed three Nigerian-born youngster, Jordan Aina, Faustino Anjorin and Tariq Uwakwe in their squad for the UEFA Youth Champions League, footballlive.ng can report.
Jordan, who is a younger brother of Suoer Eagles’ defender, Ola Aina, was also registered for the UEFA Youth League last season, but is yet to debut in the competition.
On the other hand, Anjorin has one appearance to his name against Atlético Madrid in 2017, while Uwakwe has played three matches.
The trio will now seek action, when the two time winners begin their campaign against Molde of Norway at Cobham Training Centre next Wednesday, October 3.
Though Chelsea did not finish in the top four of the Premier League last season, their junior squad are one of England’s five representatives in the UEFA Youth League as their counrtry’s under-18 champions.
