Juventus Initiation: Ronaldo Sings

Date:

Despite arriving at Juventus with superstar status and a legacy of being one of the finest players to have ever graced the game of football, Cristiano Ronaldo could not get away without doing a new-boys’ initiation.

The Portugal captain got up in front of all his new team-mates on Friday night to sing a song, as part of a welcome procedure that every new signing has to go through.

Ronaldo was spared any special treatment and was hauled up in front of the squad with fellow new signings Joao Cancelo, Mattia Perin and Emre Can.

There’s not much he can’t do on a football pitch, he’s got the body of a god and outside of football he’s often seen to be doing ridiculously charitable things that we could only hope we’d do if we ever had his money, which we never will.

So basically Ronaldo is good at everything and the rest of us have to watch as he does it and feel really bad about ourselves, cheers mate.

We really must thank Juve midfielder Miralem Pjanic who captured Ronaldo, as well as fellow signings Emre Can, Mattia Perin, Leonardo Bonucci and Joao Cancelo, singing their initiation songs.

He also recorded Blaise Matuidi being celebrated for his part in winning the World Cup with France as the midfielder danced around.

Juventus kick off the Serie A season Saturday when they play away against Chievo as they start their campaign to become Italian champions for the eighth time in a row.
