Nigeria head coach Gernot Rohr has big plans for Bordeaux winger Samuel Kalu in senior national side.
Kalu, 21, was recently handed his maiden call up to the Super Eagles team for the 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Seychelles on September 7.
The youngster churned out a brilliant performance for Bordeaux in their 2-1 win over Monaco last weekend.
With the surprise retirement of Victor Moses, a reliable source close to the Franco-German has revealed to Footballlive.ng that Kalu will feature plenty under the leadership of the former Niger Republic boss.
“Rohr is very positive about Kalu and about his future,” the source said.
“He likes the mobility and pace of the lad. Kalu will continue to be part of the national team.
