Kalu gutted with slim loss to Nice

Date:

Super Eagles winger Samuel Kalu was gutted to taste defeat with his Bordeaux side against Nice on Sunday.

The homers narrowly lost 1-0 to OGC Nice in the French Ligue 1, with Kalu lasting the full match duration.

Wylan Cyprien scored the only goal in the second half of the tension soaked fixture.

“We played very well and wanted to win the game but football at times doesn’t swing in one’s pendulum,” Samuel Kalu told Footballlive.ng.

“I’m not happy because we lost at home after putting so much effort to the game. But there are other days to fight and correct the mistakes made today (Sunday).

“We will bounce back in a positive way,” he added.

Bordeaux are 8th on the log with 14 points from 11 games.
