A late Dominic Abah strike was enough to keep Katsina United hopes of being in the CAF Confederation Cup alive as they progress into the group stage of the AITEO Cup.
Scorer of the only goal that saw Katsina United FC dump Osun United FC out of the AITEO Cup speaking exclusively to www.footballlive.ng describe the goal as precious because in the role he plays opportunity to celebrate a goal never come easily.
“The goal is so precious to me as it came at the right time in what was a difficult match against Osun United.”
On scoring his first goal for the club, he said, “I’m so happy scoring my first competitive goal for Katsina United having only joined in the mid season but most importantly I give glory to God for defeating Osun United FC.”
He concluded by dedicating the goal to the Katsina United Technical Adviser, Coach Abdullahi Biffo.
