Striker Olarenwaju Kayode claims that Shakhtar Donetsk go into every game this season feeling they can win it.
And it’s an attitude he admits that the Ukrainian outfit have always had in the past.
“We feel qualified to win any game,” said the striker to Footballlive.ng.
“It’s important to feel able to win, but that does not mean we will prepare less rigorously for games. We should be doing everything we can to sustain the momentum we have so far.”
Shakhtar Donetsk will face Desna in a Ukrainian Premier League game on Friday. They go into the match at home in first position.
“It’s a perfect match for us, against an opponent that is decent. This season we are conceding fewer goals and that is important.”
“We are top of the table and don’t want to be occupying a lesser position. We will go out and win on Friday against Desna,” he added.
