Kelechi Iheanacho Bids Farewell to Leicester City

Kelechi Iheanacho has penned a heartfelt farewell message to Leicester City supporters as he departs the club following the expiration of his contract.

The Nigerian forward spent seven years with the Foxes (2017-2021).

The 27-year old officially joined LaLiga side, Sevilla last week on a two-year deal, with an option for a third year.

Iheanacho, in an emotion message to his former team said, “Thank you for the 7 years we shared, I’ll forever cherish our 2021 FA Cup win. Thanks to the owners who brought me to the club, all of my teammates in those years, and the amazing Foxes fans!! All the best for the new season.”

Kelechi Iheanacho joined Leicester City from Manchester City in 2017. He scored 36 goals in 173 league appearances for the one-time Premier League Champions.

The 27-year-old will be remembered for his contributions, including his role in Leicester’s historic FA Cup victory against Chelsea in 2021.
