Nigerian international Kelechi Iheanacho is excited and ready for his fresh start at LaLiga club Sevilla.
Iheanacho joined Sevilla on a free transfer last week, signing a two-year contract with the option for an additional year.
The forward was unveiled by the Rojiblancos on Tuesday.
“I feel very good and happy to be coming to Sevilla, to be a new Sevilla player. I am very happy to be at Sevilla,” he said during his unveiling.
“I’m going to play like I played in England, it’s a new challenge. I’m ready to play in the Spanish league, I’m going to give everything for Sevilla FC.”
Kelechi Iheanacho also addressed the expectations following the departure of Moroccan international Youssef En-Nesyri, who recently joined Turkish giants Fenerbahce.
“I feel good to be here. I’ve followed Sevilla and I’ve seen their games. I don’t feel the pressure,” he added.
“En-Nesyri has been a great striker, he’s done a lot for the team. Now it’s my turn, what I want is to focus on the games, on the team and on continuing to improve every day.”
