Super Eagles striker, Kelechi Iheanacho is expected to feature more for Sevilla following an injury to their first-choice forward, Romero Isaac.
Iheanacho, who joined Sevilla in the summer after leaving Leicester City, has struggled to secure a regular starting spot, appearing in just one of Sevilla’s first five matches without any goals or assists.
Romero Isaac’s injury, a slight sprain, could sideline him for at least a week, offering the girder Leicester City player the chance to impress in Sevilla’s upcoming matches, starting with Real Valladolid in La Liga.
If Kelechi Iheanacho performs well, the club may decide to extend Romero’s rest by keeping him out of the next fixture against Athletic Club as well.
The Nigerian striker will be looking to make the most of this opportunity to regain his form and secure a more regular spot in Sevilla’s lineup.
