Kelechi Nwakali Happy With New Team And Debut Performance Against Estoril

Life with Porto B-Team did not start on the best of notes for former Nigeria U-17 captain as he and his teammates fell by 4 goals to nil against promotion favorite, Estoril in the first match of the Portugal Segunda Liga.

Nwakali who was on for the duration of the clash while speaking with Footballlive expressed his joy at joining the Portuguese giant and also with how well his first game went despiteb eing on the losing end.

He told www.footballlive.ng, “I am at my new club and also my performances while training with the first team and playing games as well although with the B-team for now.”

Nwakali added that he hoped to keep up his performances in training and with the B-team in matches so as to earn his chance with the first team soon.

On his dream to represent the Super Eagles, he said, “I hope to represent Nigeria soon at a higher level and I believe that if the coach decides to give me a chance I am ready to take up the challenge.”

He concluded by declaring that only by performing at his best for his club would get him a chance in the National team and that was what he was going to keep doing in order to achieve his dreams
