Captain of the Nigeria U-17 World Cup winning team, Kelechi Nwakali has spoken to footballlive about his first ever call-up to the Super Eagles describing it as a memorable milestone in his career.
He told www.footballlive.ng, “My first invitation to the Super Eagles is a dream come true. It is a memorable day and event I will always live to remember.”
The former U-17 midfielder went on to say the opportunity to showcase his talent with the Senior Nigerian National Team was one he had been looking forward to and he would do his utmost to make the most of the opportunity I have being waiting for this opportunity to showcase what i can do in the Senior National Team.
Appreciating the Super Eagles management for the opportunity, the new Porto B midfielder said, “I want to thank the Super Eagles Technical Crew for inviting me and I promise i am not going to let them down.”
Nwakali who got the news of his call-up upon returning from his normal training session with his Club teammates concluded by thanking God and everyone who helped him on his way.
