Rangers International Super Sub, Kelvin Itoya was vital for the Enugu based outfit as he came on to score the winning goal against El-kanemi Warriors in the first AITEO Cup group stage match.
El-Kanemi Warriors fan may need to make a note of the attacker’s name as this would be the second time this season that Kelvin Itoya would be coming off the bench to grab a winner for Rangers International against El-Kanemi Warrior
Speaking to www.footballive.ng immediately after the match, Kelvin Itoya said, “I feel absolutely delighted to score the winning goal but it was a team effort as we were well motivated to go all out and get the needed result.”
Itoya who thank God for the win went on to say he and his teammates had no excuse not securing the three points.
On having made a habit of scoring against El-Kanemi Warriors, he said, “I came in and scored the winning goal against them in a league match and today I came in and got the winning goal yet again and I just hope to keep the run going.”
Former warri wolves concluded by saying he would continue to respect the coach decision of using him from the bench as it had proved fruitful for himself and his team which remained the priority.
