CD Leganes centre defender, Kenneth Omeruo spoke with www.footballive.ng immediately after his team victory against Rayo Vallecano, a match he came on as a substitute in the 29th minute.
He told *footballlive , “I was not surprised when I was called upon to replaced my teammate because I was signed to play football and I knew one day I would get my opportunity which I did on Saturday and thankfully I was able to prove my worth for the team.”
Kenneth was grateful to God that his La Liga debut ended in victory even as he hoped his performance against Rayo Vallecano would lead to more game time and responsibilities with the team.
The three points were very vital for CD Leganes as they look to earn points to avoid being put in a tight position as the season progresses as they look to exit they relegation zone.
